There are consequences for every choice we make. Some are positive. Some are negative. We choose to do...we choose to not.
How many times have you said "If only I had..."? We need to understand that if we don't choose to do what is right, we miss out on great things. Take King Saul for example, he chose do something himself that God had clearly told him not to do and the consequences were great. We read in 1 Samuel 13:13-14 "You acted foolishly," Samuel said."You have not kept the command the LORD your God gave you; if you had, he would have established your kingdom over Israel for all time. But now your kingdom will not endure; the LORD has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him leader of his people, because you have not kept the LORD'S command." That's some tough stuff....think about that the next time you try to rush the Lord's plans.
In the same way if we can say "I'm glad I did", we know that the consequences, or rewards, will be great things!
Speaking of choosing things, God has chosen each of us for a purpose and if we live in that purpose, He has some great things in store for us. He knows what's best because he sees the whole picture and we can only see whats in front if us. He wants the very best for us, because we are his kids!
Don't miss opportunities to choose what God has for you this coming week, or you'll be saying...
If.Only.I.Had....
